1. Who is responsible

2. Visiting this website

The website is hosted by Netlify, Inc. (USA). When you open a page, the server automatically processes technical data: your IP address, date and time, the requested page and your browser type (server log files). This is necessary to deliver and secure the website. We do this based on our legitimate interest in running a secure website. The hosting provider deletes or anonymises this data according to its own retention periods.

We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and this website does not set cookies for such purposes. The fonts are stored on our own server, so your browser does not connect to Google Fonts.

3. Enquiry form

If you send the enquiry form, we process the details you enter: name, e-mail address, phone number, country, travel dates, group size, type of enquiry, your message and the language of the page. We use them only to answer your enquiry and prepare an offer. We do this because you asked us to, and to handle enquiries properly.

The form is processed through Netlify Forms. Submissions are stored there and forwarded to us. We keep your data for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any resulting booking and then delete it, unless a legal duty to retain it applies. Please do not enter sensitive information in the message field.

4. WhatsApp and Instagram

The WhatsApp buttons open WhatsApp (Meta Platforms) with a pre-filled message. That message is composed in your browser; nothing reaches us until you send it in WhatsApp. When you use WhatsApp, its own privacy policy applies. The same is true for the link to our Instagram profile. These are ordinary links: no Meta or Instagram scripts are loaded on this website.

5. Google Maps

On the Location page the map is loaded only after you click “Load map”. When you do, your browser connects to Google, which can receive your IP address and other technical data and may set cookies. Your click counts as your consent. Until you click, no data is sent to Google.

6. Recipients and transfers abroad

We pass data only to service providers who help us run this website (Netlify for hosting and forms) and, where you use them, to WhatsApp and Google as described above. Some of these providers are located in the USA or in other countries outside your country and the Dominican Republic. Where this is the case, transfers rely on the safeguards offered by the provider, such as standard contractual clauses. We do not sell your data.

7. Your rights

Under the Dominican Law No. 172-13 on the protection of personal data you have the right to access, update, rectify and delete your data.

If you live in a US state with a privacy law (for example California), you may also have the right to know, correct and delete the personal information we hold about you. We do not sell your personal information and do not share it for advertising. If you are in the EU, EEA or UK, you may have additional rights under the GDPR, including access, rectification, erasure, objection and the right to complain to your data protection authority. 8. Security, children and changes

This website uses encrypted connections (HTTPS). It is not aimed at children under 16. We may update this policy; the date below shows the current version.
